Company History Closet and Carpentry Designs started in March of 1993 with the purchase of a wire shelving company called Space Alternatives which worked with area home builders. On Sept 11, 2001, Closet and Carpentry Designs purchased it's largest competitor, American Closet Company, to further increase growth and to expand the product offerings to their customers. As of today, Closet and Carpentry Designs, has worked in over 5,000 homes in the Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan and even a number of homes / condo's in the Chicago area. | What We Do Closet and Carpentry Designs is a full service designer, manufacturer and installer of closet and storage systems.
